Here’s Penn State Basketball’s ideal 2021 starting five

Starting power forward: Greg Lee

Power forward is another ‘coin flip’ position with Greg Lee and Jevonnie Scott.

VBR is going to give the edge to Lee simply because Scott played at a junior college last year with Greg Lee, as you can see in the picture above, has experience playing Big Ten Conference Teams.

Lee was much like Brockington, announcing his return before changing his mind and entering the portal.  He averaged 13.0 points per game and 7.2 rebounds and shot over 50 percent from the field.  Either Lee or Scott can fill in at the backup center position too, but we know who’s starting there…

Also, neither Dread nor Lundy is a real power forward, despite playing that position out of need last year.

Yes, they can fill in spot minutes here, and if Shrewsberry wants to reward both for returning I could even see him starting one at the “3” (small forward) and the other at the “4” (power forward) opening day, but neither are big enough to start consistently at the 4.
