4. Adrian Amos – 5th round, Chicago Bears

Amos might be the player with the most value attached to where they were picked, as the fifth round selection has already carved out a great career for himself.

In 2019, Amos left Chicago and signed a four-year, $37 million dollar free agent contract with the Green Bay Packers, not bad for the 142nd pick in the 2015 draft. The Baltimore, Maryland native has racked up seven interceptions and five sacks in his career, two of those interceptions coming in three playoff games.

The safety has yet to be named to a Pro Bowl or make an All-Pro team, but continues to get better and should be in line for another nice contract when his current one is up. At only 27 years old he is just entering the prime of his career and is one of the more consistent safeties in the league.

He was not a name many expected to have a big NFL career when he was with Penn State Football, but he is one of many hidden gems to come out of the program in recent memory.
