So here we are. I’ve laid out each legends wrestling and coaching career and now it’s time for me to put everything together.

Which I will.

Both Dan Gable and Cael Sanderson are legends in the sports world. Period.

Is one better than the other based on their wrestling careers? Possibly, but their careers were separated by almost four decades. It’s really hard to compare how someone from the 1970’s would stack up against someone in the 2000’s.

The training was different. The nutrition was different. The technique to a certain degree was different.

How about their coaching careers?

Clearly, Dan Gable has the edge here but Cael is still coaching. Could Sanderson eventually catch him eventually? Sure.

So I’m going to put this on you, the reader. How do you see this comparison?

-Is Dan Gable the best of all time?

-Is Cael Sanderson the best of all time?

-Is it too early to tell?

-Does Ohio State still suck?
