1. N’Kosi Perry – Miami

Perry is hands down the best quarterback remaining in the portal and would be the only option that could potentially be an immediate upgrade over Clifford.

Kendall and Jones would be additions of depth and creating some healthy competition, while Perry is a dynamic playmaker who we saw flash his talent in their bowl game last season after Miami quarterback D’Eriq King was injured.

Perry threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Oklahoma State but showed he may have matured as a pure pocket passer, something needed in offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich’s offense.

The junior has started games for the Canes in past seasons and put together some really good showings, including a 400 yard performance against Va Tech in 2019.

The former three star recruit from Ocala, Florida would be a big shake up to the Penn State Football quarterback room, and a risky option, but could be worth the reward.
