5. Nicholas Singleton

Nicholas Singleton was one of the first recruits to tweet their intentions to visit Penn State in June. He, like Nelson and Dennis-Sutton will be there during the second weekend of the month, big weekend to say the least.

The 4-star running back is the top offensive target for Penn State at this point and the competition  for him is tough. The likes of Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Wisconsin all have their eyes on Singleton.

Despite being from Reading, Pa, Penn State has not always been at the front of his recruitment, but things have changed lately.

The staff is selling him on the success of recent Pennsylvania running backs at Penn State, a group that includes Saquon Barkley, Miles Sanders and Journey Brown.

This visit could be Penn State’s chance to put the other schools in the rearview mirror and pull away in Singleton’s recruitment.
