The First test for Jim Harbaugh in a make or break season

Washington at Michigan – September 11th

After a 2-4 season it seems head coach Jim Harbaugh is sitting firmly on the hot season entering next season, and a visit from the Huskies will provide Michigan’s first test of the season.

Washington surprised in head coach Jimmy Lake’s first season and will make the trip to Ann Arbor most likely an underdog, but will be looking to make a national statement in this week 2 matchup. They would have played in the Pac 12 championship last season if not for Covid-19 issues that forced them to bow out.

Michigan could very well be starting true freshman quarterback J.J McCarthy who was a huge recruit, so that could add even more intrigue to this Big Ten-Pac 12 battle. The Huskies are known for their defense so this could be a low scoring affair.

The Wolverines were supposed to travel to Washington last season in this home and home battle, which seems like Michigan got away with one not having to make the trip.
