Four star cornerback Keenan Nelson Jr. has been rather quiet when it comes to his recruitment.

The St. Joe’s Prep product did recently drop a top 10 though, and the Nittany Lions were included. Considering he cut his choices, he’s at least starting to consider a commitment.

Penn State Football hasn’t had great luck at St. Joe’s, or Philadelphia as a whole, lately, but some factors are in their favor.

Penn State has already broken into Philadelphia in their 2022 class, grabbing 4-star linebacker Ken Talley back in the Fall. The last Penn State player to come from St. Joe’s, was John Reid, who is also a corner back.

The Nittany Lions may be able to use Talley and Reid to their advantage in this recruitment.
