Penn State Football’s 2022 recruiting class has been enjoying plenty of success, with eight 4-star commits in the fold.

The class seems to have plenty of momentum, and the question becomes, who is next?

Drew Allar is the newest member of the 2022 class, committing back on Mar. 8. Since his commitment, things have been kind of quiet for Penn State Football’s prized recruiting class.

The reason may be that many recruits are waiting until visits open back up in June before making a decision. The next couple of months may be very quiet because of this.

Regardless, here are some possible candidates to be Penn State’s next commit, although nothing is imminent.

Dani Dennis-Sutton

Not many recruits have been talked about more than Dani Dennis-Sutton when it comes to possible members of Penn State Football’s class.

Penn State currently has three players from Dennis-Sutton’s high school, the McDonogh School, making it one of the program’s best pipelines. The return of recruiting director Kenny Sanders also helps, as he is a graduate of McDonogh as well.

The 4-star defensive end is one of the more sought after recruits on the East coast, so although they have the connections, he is far from a Penn State lock.

Dennis-Sutton will likely take visits before making a decision, but considering nothing is expected until the Summer, he could be the next commit, especially if his Penn State visit goes well.
