Alex Birchmeier (Offensive line)

Another offensive line target is Alex Birchmeier out of Ashburn, Va.

The 6 foot 5, 265 pound Birchmeier is listed as the No. 2 offensive tackle in 247 Sports 2023 early rankings.

He has collected 18 offers, which include LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Oregon. Penn State has some competition here.

Penn State’s 2022 offensive line haul isn’t close to complete, but depending on how it shapes out, Birchmeier could be one of the bigger needs in the 2023 class. The hope is that they’ll just be piggy-backing off a great 2022 haul with another one in 2023.

Tripp and Birchmeier would be quite the start to that.
