S Andrew Pryts (2016)

The 4-star safety surprised most people when he flipped from Penn State to Stanford on signing day in 2026.

His dad played for Penn State from 1979-1981, and he was a Pennsylvania recruit. Up to that point, James Franklin had done very well within the state.

Pryts didn’t see action at Stanford until 2018, when he recorded five tackles in four games. Playing linebacker, Pryts did have a solid senior season, collecting 72 tackles, with one being for loss.

After 2019, Pryts had a grad transfer season available. He briefly entered the transfer portal but withdrew. Despite withdrawing, he didn’t play in 2020 and is not currently listed on Stanford’s roster.
