Many were surprised when 4-star corner back Lavert Hill committed to Penn State in January of 2015, because his older brother was a member of the Michigan football team.

Hill lasted longer than most probably expected, but when Jim Harbaugh came to see him in November of 2015, he opened his recruitment back up.

Hill kept the Nittany Lions in mind though, officially visiting in January of 2016. Eventually, he would end up a Wolverine.

Hill was productive in his four years at Michigan. He totaled 56 tackles with six interceptions, taking two of them back for touchdowns. He also went 2-2 versus Penn State.

He’s probably best known by Penn State fans for flipping off the crowd after Penn State rocked Michigan 42-13 in 2017.

He went undrafted in the 2020 draft and is currently on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad.
