After a recruit de-commits from Penn State Football, there is a usual feeling from the fanbase that it will come back to hurt the Nittany Lions.

In reality, most recruits who decide Penn State Football will not be the school they are signing with rarely come back to haunt Penn State.

There is one exception of course, Justin Fields.

The one time Penn State commit ended up at Georgia, before transferring to Ohio State, beating the Nittany Lions twice. He is now in line to be a top-10 pick in this Spring’s NFL draft.
