Now that I’ve broken blood vessels in both of my hands from clapping so hard after Roman Bravo-Young’s victory to clinch the 133-National Championship for Penn State Wrestling, it’s onto the second PSU finals match of the night.

Let’s go!!

Can the Nittany Lions pull off a pair of individual National Championships?

No. 2 Nick Lee (PSU) vs. No. 1 Jaydin Eierman (IOWA)

Both wrestlers, as with the first match, started out firing in taking shot after shot.

Lee grabbed an ankle pick but Eierman wiggled out. Then Lee got a deep single leg but again Eierman worked his way out and both wrestlers went out of bounds.

After the restart, Lee continued working on Eierman’s right side but he just couldn’t land anything.

Eierman took a shot on Lee and had a single leg near the boundary circle and Lee defended it incredibly well to get out.

Lee defers in the 2nd period and starts out on top position. He then gave up the escape to Eierman to put the first points on the board (0-1).

Eierman had Lee in another tough spot midway through the 2nd period but yet again he proved tough to takedown and Lee escaped.

The 2nd period ended with both wrestlers squared up and on their feet.

Lee opted to start the 3rd period in neutral and right out of the gate he snagged the takedown and the lead (2-1)!

Eierman was then able to fight out and earn the escape (2-2).

Eierman looked gassed towards the end of the 3rd period and he received his first stall warning of the match.

As the waning seconds of the 3rd period ticked off, Lee landed a single leg and almost ended the match.

Onto sudden victory.

AND JUST LIKE THAT, NICK LEE BULLIED EIERMAN TO THE MAT AND WINS HIS 1ST NCAA TITLE!!!

My hands can’t take much more of this. Seriously. And I’m just watching and typing.

With the victory in sudden victory (4-2), Nick Lee takes home his first NCAA title and Penn State’s 2nd on the night.
