Former Buckeye great and current NBA free agent Jared Sullinger is psyched that Micah Shrewsberry is getting his shot at a head coaching position, hired Monday by Penn State Basketball.

Sullinger was drafted in 2012, after two stellar years for Ohio State, averaging 17.3 points and 9.7 rebounds in his collegiate career.  The Buckeyes advanced to the Final Four his sophomore year and Sullinger was named to the AP All-American team both years.

Sullinger was chosen No. 21 overall by the Celtics and bounced around playing for the Raptors, Pelicans, and briefly for the Phoenix Suns.  Jared was most recently seen as the GM/Head Coach for Carmen’s Crew, the Ohio State alumni team in The Basketball Tournament.
