Jim Ferry, named interim Head Coach after the shocking dismissal of Pat Chambers, and love him or hate him, he kept the Lions afloat amidst the most unusual of seasons.
A bounce here and a call, this team is in the NCAA Tournament.
Penn State AD Sandy Barbour has stated her intent to name a head coach immediately after the season is over. If the coach was going to be Ferry, why wouldn’t you have announced that when Hutchings-Everett recommitted to Penn State and give Ferry a jump start on recruiting?
Yesterday, Jim Ferry sent out this tweet:

Unclear of it’s exact meaning, but coming just one day after the scheduled games for Penn State Basketball came to a close, the timing sure is interesting.
Were these words of a fond farewell as maybe Barbour told him yesterday he wouldn’t be retained? Many Penn State Basketball fans included responses with the #keepJimFerry hashtag.
For now, we’re focused on the #PSUforNIT hashtag, but definitely worth monitoring.
