That “boo-bird like” sound you hear is me pulling on the grade-train whistle for three straight minutes. I’m sorry, unlike my ability to drop the whole “OMG PSU’s forfeit guy at 125 is horrible” schtick, I’m not letting this go.

Nick Lee gets an A+ for his efforts in the 2021 B1G Championships, because he wrestled his butt off and he deserved to win the 141 title.

After quickly dispatching OSU’s Dylan D’Emilio via a technical fall, Lee then wrestled one of the best matches of the entire B1G tournament against Sebastian Rivera.

His reward? A matchup against Iowa’s Jaydin Eierman in the finals. The first four minutes of the match were exciting and outside of an almost two minute riding time advantage for Eierman, it was a dead even battle.

Well, Penn State Wrestling fans know how the rest turned out.

Eierman decided to adhere to the CDC’s recommended social distancing guidelines during a collegiate wrestling match and Lee couldn’t do anything about it.

*Sigh*
