Illinois in the Big Ten semifinals

Okay, so this would be Penn State Basketball’s second straight top-five opponent. And the Lions’ third ranked foe.

But, no one said winning the Big Ten Tournament is easy.

Of course No. 7 seed Maryland or No. 10 seed Indiana could pull off an upset to help Penn State, but let’s assume on our fourth consecutive day of playing, PSU would get current NCAA tournament 1 seed Illinois.

Penn State fell to Ilinois at home, crashing after a hot start, and then fell in Champaign after trying a doomed zone defense.

It’s really hard to beat a team three times.

So, Penn State wins this one because ,,, #odds.

Onto the finals!
