At this point I have already spewed out 1158 words in trying to breakdown who I think will win each weight class at the B1G Championship. And I’ve gone with the No. 1 pre-seed for every single bracket. I know what you’re thinking, I like to live dangerously, right?

Well try this on for size.

*sitting at a table with three hats – Iowa hat, Penn State hat, Rutgers hat*

“My choice for the 2021 B1G Championship at 141 is…” *dramatic pause – reaches for the Iowa hat* “This guy is one hell of a wrestler and he’s had an incredible career at one of the most prestigious wrestling programs in history. So therefore I’m picking…” *throws Iowa hat in the garbage and puts Penn State hat on head* “Nick Lee of Penn State!”

There you have it folks. I believe this is Nick Lee’s year and I believe he will finally win a B1G title at home this weekend. BAM!!

On a side note. Sebastian Rivera is attempting to win 3 consecutive B1G titles at 3 consecutive weight classes (2019-125 and 2020-133). 141 is not a 2 man race as Rivera will be a very difficult out for Lee assuming they meet in the semi-finals.
