Of my “iffy” picks, I’m most confident about this one. Roman Bravo-Young will claim his first B1G title this year and he’s going to prove to the collegiate wrestling world, he’s on the same level as Okie State’s Daton Fix.

Due to the numerous cancellations of dual meets throughout the season, RBY’s highest seeded opponent this season was Ohio State’s No. 8 seed Jordan Decatur. Bravo-Young made quick work of Decatur as he earned the tech fall 3:37 into the match (27-8). Decatur looked about as defeated as I’ve seen a collegiate wrestler as he couldn’t do anything to counter RBY’s quick and relentless shots.

RBY will have to continue to wrestle fast and loose as DeSanto, Alvarez, Byrd, and Cannon will not be easy outs if he’s matched up against any of them. But my money is still on Roman.
