6. Illinois Fighting Illini

Illinois features one of the best two headed monsters of any backfield in the conference, led by Chase Brown and Mike Epstein.

Brown led the team in rushing last season with 540 yards and three scores, averaging over five yards a carry. His running mate Mike Epstein ran for 367 yards and four touchdowns as well last season, and the two once again will drive the Illinois offense in 2021.

The Illini have issues on their offensive line and at quarterback and it is easy to wonder how good these two backs could be on a better team, however the Illini will go as this running game goes.

Combined the two backs could run for almost 2,000 yards in a full season next fall if they can both stay healthy.
