9. Purdue Boilermakers 

The Boilermakers come in on this list because they proved last season they have two quarterbacks they can count on to get the job done in Jeff Brohm’s offense.

Redshirt junior Aidan O’Connell started the first three games of the season, throwing for 916 yards and seven scores to only two interceptions. Redshirt sophomore Jack Plummer then took over for the final three games of the season and posted almost an identical stat line, passing for 938 yards and eight touchdowns with two interceptions.

Both quarterbacks combined to finish top-five in the Big Ten in passing yards, while Purdue finished the season 2-4 in an abbreviated season.

Plummer looks to be the front-runner to start in 2021.
