Trent Buttrick rings the Victory Bell for Lions

Okay, so I know he wasn’t the leading scorer. And he probably wasn’t the actual MVP of the game.  But let’s give Trent Buttrick some due.

Buttrick missed some three pointers, and defensive ineptitude has been discussed ad nauseum on this site.

But, in the first half when the outcome was still in question,Trent Buttrick scored 13 points on 4-7 shooting from three, and added eight rebounds, two blocks and a steal.

Buttrick will always have physical shortcomings vs a B1G front court, but let’s give him credit for his performance tonight and congratulate him on completing his collegiate basketball career.
