Bold Prediction No. 3

125 Robbie Howard will win 3 matches

We won’t know for sure until the B1G releases the brackets for each weight class, but my guess is Howard will be slotted somewhere around 9 or 10 in the seeding. This means he will either have an 8/9 matchup or a 7/10 matchup for the first session. Win, and Robbie is off to a 1-0 start.

Here’s the bad news, the winner of the 8/9 match takes on the No. 1 seed and the winner of the 7/10 match then takes on the No. 2 seed. Sadly this is where Howard gets bumped down to the consolation bracket where I’m predicting he will win a pair of matches and then fall in his last match to finish the 2021 B1G’s with a record of 3-2.

I’ll admit, this would be much easier for me to predict if I can see the brackets and who’s slotted where, but what’s the fun in that? I’m going to make blanket bold predictions based on my heart, as well as with what my eyes have seen in the Cael Sanderson era at Penn State.

Robbie Howard is a decorated high school, Cadet World, and Youth Olympic wrestler. And it’s time for Penn State to finally make some noise at the 125 class.
