Barring a miraculous run in the Big Ten Tournament, likely winning the conference, Penn State Basketball won’t be dancing this year.

It’s been weeks since the Nittany Lions have been on ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi’s radar as the loss at home to Nebraska basically sealed PSU’s fate.

Although the NIT doesn’t have the “.500 record requirement”, Penn State Basketball is currently 8-13., #WeAre not even close to .500.

So, let’s take a look at the 3 reasons Penn State Basketball won’t be dancing:

Seth Lundy disappoints

Let’s take a look at Seth Lundy’s statistics since he had 26 points in 37 minutes at Ohio State … two points, six points, two points, zero points, eight points, 12 points, three points, two points, zero points.

Lundy hasn’t even earned more than 20 minutes of playing time the last seven games. And his shooting? 9-for-41 from three-point range, a smooth 21.9% and 13 for 15 overall, a slightly better 23.63%.

I love Seth Lundy.  I remember his 32 vs VCU earlier this year.  One of Pat Chambers’ best recruits and future of the Roman Catholic pipeline … but, his regression this year has me very fearful of his departure this offseason.
