5. Win

Easier said than done in most cases.

Penn State Football had a rough 2020 season, going 4-5.

Prior to that, PSU did win 42 games in four years, the only problem being that included no playoff appearances and only one win against Ohio State.

Penn State’s 2016 win over Ohio State did a lot for recruiting, but blown leads in 2017 and 2018 didn’t help it.

Saying you had three straight victories over Ohio State would have done wonders on the recruiting trail.

Penn State Football not only needs to get back to winning, but they need to get back to beating Ohio State.

Winning will bring in top recruits. They want to be on prime time television and play in big games and the College Football Playoff. Penn State needs to be able to show recruits that they will give them that opportunity.

They say winning cures a lot of things, and recruiting is one of those things.

To win though, you need state of the art facilities, great coaches, good recruits and a strong development  program. Everything goes hand and hand here.
