Cornerback

The Nittany Lions are well stocked at corner back for the next few years, but if you want to keep up with Ohio State, you can’t take your foot off the pedal.

Keenan Nelson Jr., a 4-star out of St. Joe’s Prep in Philly, is probably at the top of the board, but Penn State has struggled with St. Joe’s kids in recent cycles, so that remains an uphill battle.

4-star Jaeden Gould out of New Jersey is out there, as is 3-star Avery Powell. Another Philadelphia target includes Raleigh Collins III.

3-star Oliver Bridges attends The Bullis School in Maryland, a place Penn State has recruited well.  Akim Sledge attends the Life Christian Academy, the school that current Penn State corner Joseph Johnson attended. ‘

James Monds III out of Florida is another name to keep an eye on.

There are plenty of options for the Nittany Lions. Chances are they’ll take their time to evaluate who in this group they prefer.
