The No. 12 Fighting Illini hosted No. 8 Nebraska this past Sunday (2/21) in what looked to be a good B1G matchup. Unfortunately things didn’t exactly shakeout as Nebraska cruised to a lopsided 25-9 victory.

The good news for Illinois is three of their five ranked grapplers who suited up for the meet took home wins by decision. Lucas Byrd, Danny Braunagel, and Luke Luffman compiled the lone 9 points for the Fighting Illini and No. 10 ranked Michael Carr was not active for the dual at 149.
