Michigan took to the road last Friday evening (2/19) to take on fellow Michigander Michigan State. After arriving in East Lansing, the Wolverines then took Sparty behind the woodshed to pick up an easy 28-9 victory.

Michigan is now 5-1 on the season, with their lone loss coming against Penn State.

Everything pretty much went as planned against Michigan State, however, No. 9 Kanen Storr got pushed around by unranked Peyton Omania. Storr ended up losing by decision 8-15. Typically top ten ranked wrestlers don’t lose, hence why they’re ranked in the top 10. But to lose to an unranked opponent isn’t a great look heading into the B1G’s.

We’ll see if Storr can shake this off going forward.
