Now, we’re onto the true contenders in the B1G wrestling world.

Fresh off of an impressive 25-9 beating of No. 12 Illinois on the road, the No. 8 Nebraska Cornhuskers are setting their sights on the B1G Championships to prove to the conference they are ready to contend for a title.

Five of Nebraska’s seven ranked wrestlers picked up wins on Sunday afternoon with the two losses coming against other ranked opponents. Nebraska currently has four grapplers ranked inside of the top 10 of their weight classes, two of which are ranked No. 2 (Mikey Labriola) and No. 1 (Eric Shultz).

The Cornhuskers will be a dangerous team in the B1G’s.
