LB – Micah Parsons

Micah Parsons is the premier linebacker prospect in this year’s class, and among its most dominant defenders, potentially even a top-10 pick.

“He can be a game-changer,” a long-time NFL personnel executive tells VictoryBellRings, on the condition of anonymity so he could speak freely on Parsons as he still consults for several teams. “Devin White, who I loved coming out of LSU, Micah is a much better prospect than him. Devin was very athletic, very fast, you see it on the NFL level.”

Parsons arrived in Happy Valley prior to the Nittany Lions’ 2018 season as a five-star defensive end recruit, prior to developing into an All-American inside linebacker, which offers a glimpse at his versatility at the NFL level.

At 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, Parsons is freakishly athletic, with the ability to be a disruptive pass-rusher off the edge, dominant sideline-to-sideline linebacker in coverage, or play quarterback of a defense at inside linebacker.

Parsons’ athleticism and track record of high production is going to lead to him being among the first defensive prospects to hear his name called on draft night.
