Some common, disappointing, dooming themes developing …

Another day, another lead on the road vs. a ranked team in the second half and another loss.

Like Michigan.

Like Ohio State.

This is truly the year of “what-if” for Penn State Basketball.

The difference between Penn State’s 4-11 (12th place) and Maryland and Rutgers 8-9 (tied for 7th) is just a handful of points. And keep in mind the Nittany Lions beat BOTH of THEM!

Would Pat Chambers have found a way to get some of these wins?  Who knows.

But, it sure is frustrating to consistently play with these final four contenders but never get the win.  Another long second half stretch without a field goal spelled doom again.

I don’t understand why PSU doesn’t have a set play or two to get a good look in these cold spells to avoid just one on one contested long two point jumpers but whatever.

Oh well.

Penn State Basketball is cursed.

The Nittany Lions were ranked No. 9 last year, and the only way PSU wouldn’t dance is if the season was cancelled. Cue an international pandemic.

Penn State led No. 11 Iowa in their own gym in the second half.  With Jones and Lundy being completely useless offensively.

Dang it.

Let’s get it together and win the Big Ten Tournament maybe? Lol, ok I can dream.

We’re back Tuesday to get revenge on the Lions’ only bad loss of the year, at Nebraska at 8:00 pm.  Until then, #keepclimbing.

Most importantly, congrats to the students of Penn State University for raising over 10.6 million dollars to help the fight against pediatric cancer in their annual dance marathon.  What a cause, what an amazing effort.  For the Kids #FTK
