Penn State Wrestling: Grades, MVP vs. Ohio State
By Chris Snyder
MVP
Carter Starocci
I don’t know how you can’t give the MVP to Starocci.
As I mentioned earlier, I went back and forth with Beard’s match and Starocci’s match. But in the end I feel like Beard wouldn’t have been able to wrestle loose and free if the dual score was closer.
Carter has now taken home back-to-back MVP’s and I don’t think we’ve heard the last from him yet.
What’s next for PSU?
Another dual meet and yet another impressive showing for Cael Sanderson and his outstanding roster of wrestlers. Next up is a quick tune up before the B1G’s when the Nittany Lions host Maryland this Monday (2/22) at 6pm. National coverage airs on the Big Ten Network and PS Radio Network.
