Rank: Unranked
Record: 2-5
Top 20 Wins: 1
Ranked Wrestlers: 5

125 No. 7 Michael DeAugustino
133 No. 12 Chris Cannon
149 No. 14 Yahya Thomas
157 No. 1 Ryan Deakin
197 No. 14 Lucas Davison

If Sebastian Rivera (No. 3 141) didn’t take a graduate transfer back to his home state team of Rutgers, Northwestern could’ve had a formidable lineup. As it stands, the Wildcats have five ranked grapplers with No. 1 Ryan Deakin leading the way at 157.

Northwestern has been a hot/cold team all season. After losing against Indiana (15-18) and not getting blown out by Penn State (13-29) in a 1/30 tri meet, the Wildcats got their doors blown off by Illinois (6-31) in the following dual meet. Then, they beat then No. 19 ranked Wisconsin (18-17) this past Sunday (2/14).

*throwing his hands in the air* Based on this, I have no idea where to put Northwestern, so I put them 9th.

Next up for Northwestern is a road dual versus Minnesota this Sunday (2/21) where they will either win 19-16 or lose 3-38.
