Rutgers just hasn’t been able to get the ball rolling this season losing all four of their dual meets. I have them ranked a slot above Indiana due to them being the front-runner for the 2021 B1G “Moral Victories Award”. The Scarlet Knights wrestled three incredibly close duals against Ohio State (14-19), Purdue (15-18), and Minnesota (18-21).
With two wrestlers ranked in the top 6 in two weight classes, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rutgers has individual success in both the B1G Championships and the NCAA’s. But, in regards to the entire team, yeah, not great Bob.
Next up for Rutgers is a
trip
victory against Maryland this Friday (2/19) in College Park.
