I don’t think much needs to be said about this year’s Iowa team that hasn’t already been said.

The Hawkeyes have eight wrestlers ranked in the top 5 of their respective weight classes, four of whom are ranked No. 1.

This is Iowa’s year, and there’s really not much anyone in the B1G can do about it. But, weird things do happen sometimes in wrestling, which is why they have the matches instead of picking winners on paper.

Next up for the Hawkeyes is a pending slaughter of Wisconsin this Sunday (2/21), assuming it doesn’t get postponed like their prior two duals.
