No shock here either, as I have the Nittany Lions No. 2 in my B1G power rankings.

I know, I know. Penn State fans aren’t used to seeing anything other than a “1” in front of the team, and most of the wrestlers, but this is a young team and one that could still surprise some people this year.

Do any of you want to doubt Cael Sanderson?

The Nittany Lions were only able to get in four dual meets this season, winning all four including the exciting match against Michigan (18-13) from this past Sunday (2/124). As I just mentioned, this team is a complete mixed bag of experience. It would have been nice to get in the early duals against Rutgers and Michigan State to get the young guys more experience, but there’s nothing we could have done about it. Oh well.

Next up for Penn State is a dual this Friday (2/19) in Columbus and then a

dual meet

scrimmage against Maryland on Monday (2/22) at home.
