Hey Chris, I thought this was a list of Cael Sanderson’s best wins at Penn State? Yeah, it is. Even though an NCAA team Championship doesn’t count towards a coach’s win/loss record, it still counts as a “win” in my book.

For the fourth straight year, Penn State had five finalists, three of which took home titles. Jason Nolf 157, Bo Nickal 197, and Anthony Cassar Hwt won their respective weight class championship belts and the Nittany Lions took home the team championship besting second place Ohio State by more than 40 points.

After the 2019 NCAA’s Penn State had claimed eight of the last nine team titles. This was one of the most dominant runs any sports team has ever had.

This is also Penn State’s last NCAA Championship. No one knows who would have won the 2020 title (thanks again, COVID!), but, I can’t be crazy in thinking Nick Lee, Vincenzo Joseph, and Aaron Brooks wouldn’t have added more hardware.
