What time, TV channel is Penn State Basketball vs. Nebraska? Free live stream
By Evan Smith
Penn State Basketball hits the hardwood Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 3:00 pm, hosting the last place team in the B1G, the Nebraska Cornhuskers at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Here’s a look at everything you need to know about Sunday’s game:
When: Today at 3:00 pm
Where: Bryce Jordan Center (if we could go … )
TV Channel: Big Ten Network
Live stream: BTN App
Importance: This is the easiest game remaining on the Nittany Lions schedule. After Saturday’s action, Joe Lunardi moved Penn State back into the “First Four Out”. A win today keeps Penn State Basketball there (especially if Boise State loses) but a loss could drop PSU out entirely.
And the things Victory Bell Rings do for you, we got a direct answer from the Bracketologist about Penn State’s hopes himself:
About the Cornhuskers:
KenPom: 127 (Penn State is 30)
NET Ranking: 167 (Penn State is 31)
B1G Standings: 14th place at 4-12, 0-9 in conference (Penn State is 11th Place at 7-9, 4-8 in conference)
Spread: Penn State is 11 point favorites
Nebraska has had six games postponed or cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. There is no word on if the five B1G games will be rescheduled, including the January 30th game where Penn State was supposed to travel to Lincoln.
While the Cornhuskers have lost nine straight games, they played No. 6 Illinois to overtime. In fact, Illinois had to score the last 10 points in regulation and first 5 points in overtime to hold on Nebraska.
They may be winless in the conference, but this is not a horrible team. I’m not sure about a cover, but hey even a one point win is a win.
And a win is all Penn State needs to #keepclimbing.
