John Harrar rings the Victory Bell

As mentioned above, Harrar was the only Nittany Lion to show up in the first half.

So, this one is a pretty easy awarding.

Harrar finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds. It’s a shame he can’t play forty minutes (but to be fair, no center plays more than 30 minutes a game).  John has really grown into a heck of a player.

If anyone can convince him to use the “free year” from the NCAA to come back next year, that’d be great. Without him next year, Penn State has NO front-court.  Zero, zilch, no one.

Sigh…

A little credit does go to Myreon Jones for coming alive in the second half to finish with 15 points on 5-12 shooting, especially keeping PSU alive from the 6:00 mark to 4:00 mark when Harrar was resting on the bench.  But again, his two possessions late forcing up tough jumpers cost Penn State the game.
