No. 8: Cass Technical (Detroit, MI)

Penn State first dipped into Cass Technical in 2017 when they picked up 4-star corner back Donovan Johnson.

Johnson’s career has been derailed by injuries, but Penn State recently got back into the Detroit high school.

2021 twin brothers, Kobe and Kalen King, attended Cass Technical and are now enrolled at Penn State.

Kalen is a 4-star corner back while Kobe is a 3-star linebacker.

Penn State’s success there has to do with safeties coach Tim Banks, who recruits the region. As long as Banks is at Penn State, they will have a chance at Cass Tech and Detroit’s other power houses.
