Penn State Football is set to welcome seven of its 2021 commits to campus this week, as the clock begins counting down to next season.

The seven newest Nittany Lions who will be enrolling early, and be on campus for the Spring semester are Landon Tengwall, Nate Bruce, Christian Veilleux, Rodney McGraw, Kobe King, Kalen King and Jeffrey Davis Jr.

Each will benefit from their early arrival on campus, albeit in different ways. Expectations are different for each, so let’s get into them.

Landon Tengwall

At 6 foot 6 and over 300 pounds, most of it good weight, there isn’t much for Landon Tengwall to do from a physical standpoint. Tengwall’s senior season was canceled, so he may be a bit rusty when it comes to game action.

Tengwall will have the opportunity to learn from offensive line coach Phil Trautwein, and the extra time they will get together will go a long way.

It would be a little unexpected if Tengwall was a starter at the beginning of the season, but his talent and extra time on campus should easily give him a chance to be on the two deep to start the season.

Tengwall will be a cornerstone of Penn State’s offensive line for years, and the extra time will only make him better.
