Seth Lundy rings the bell

Seth Lundy shot much better coming off the bench for the first time this season.

Teams have clearly scouted and adjusted since Lundy’s 30 point game against VCU, but he handled the adversity of not starting well.

Lundy finished with 13 points (2-4 from three point land) and four rebounds.  He still has much to learn defensively, as Jamari Wheeler laid into him for missing a box out that led to an easy Illini line-up.

Myreon Jones also showed his ability to put the ball in the hoop.  He finished with 20 points on 6-13 shooting (3-4 from three) including an amazing baseline bank shot.  He’s shown us now for a few games he’s going to get his points.  It’s just not nearly enough.
