Ex-Penn State Football WR Chris Godwin made an outrageous one-handed catch for a Tampa Bay Buccaneers touchdown Saturday afternoon

Former Penn State wide receiver Chris Godwin made an absolutely outrageous one-handed catch for a Tampa Bay Buccaneers touchdown on Saturday afternoon against the Detroit Lions.

With 4:58 remaining in the second quarter of Saturday’s game at Ford Field, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady hit a diving and wide open Godwin for a seven-yard touchdown that extended Tampa Bay’s lead to 27-0.

Godwin, who has been battling nagging injuries throughout the season, remains one of the most dangerous receivers in the NFL.

Just how incredible was Godwin’s catch on Saturday? Just two weeks ago the former Penn State Football standout had pins removed from a broken finger.

Through his first 10 games of the season, Godwin has already caught 60 passes for 707 yards and five touchdowns. However, easily the most impressive of Godwin’s scoring grabs was the one he made in Saturday afternoon’s blowout.
