Where’s the defense?!

How can Penn State Basketball defend the paint in conference?

With players like Luka Garza on the schedule ahead, teams are going to continually abuse Penn State in the paint. You can’t fault Harrar or Buttrick, as both played hard and Buttrick likely had his best game of the season with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.

But, as we are constantly reminded, Jim Ferry was the “Offensive Coordinator” for Pat Chambers and perhaps there’s a reason.  The defensive issues, especially down low but also preventing the drive from getting into the paint, are painfully obvious.  Penn State shot 54.7% from the floor and lost by 17 at home.
