Penn State Basketball alum Lamar Stevens took flight for the Cleveland Cavaliers in a Monday exhibition game

Lamar Stevens may have gone undrafted out of Penn State Basketball, but following the Tim Frazier and Josh Reaves model of making an NBA roster anyway.

Stevens made short work of his first appearance for the Cleveland Cavaliers in this preseason game vs the Pacers.

You have got to see Stevens’ ally-oop dunk in Monday night’s game. Lucky for you, the video is below:

Lamar stripped the ball from the Pacers guard with ease and streaked down the floor, finishing with the one handed FLUSH.

We’ve certainly seen this in the Bryce Jordan Center enough times.

Stevens played played a total of 8 minutes, finishing with 4 points (1-2 from the field) and 2-2 from the free throw line.  He also finsihed third on the team in rebounds with 6 (trailing only starting Center Andre Drummond and D Wade, Dean not Dwayne).  Perhaps most importantly, he finished a +9 in those 8 minutes.

Although he didn’t play in the Cavaliers first preseason game (also vs the Pacers), we look forward to Lamar Stevens showing what that Penn State #attitude looks like at the next level.

Other Penn State Nitany Lions in the Pros:  Tony Carr (New Orleans Pelicans) hasn’t played yet this preseason.  Tim Frazier is not currently listed on the Detroit Pistons roster.  Josh Reaves is not listed on the Dallas Mavericks roster but is on their G-League affiliate’s roster, the Texas Legends.
