Penn State Football (3-5) learned Sunday that its opponent in Big Ten Week 9 action next Saturday  (12/19/2020) will be the Illinois Fighting Illini (2-5), in a 5:30 p.m. kickoff at Beaver Stadium on Fox Sports 1.

The Nittany Lions will look to extend a three-game winning streak to close out the season at 4-5, with a victory over Illinois next week, following a decisive 39-24 victory on Senior Day Saturday afternoon over the Michigan State Spartans.
