How does Penn State win a basketball game when they shoot poorly?

This was going to happen eventually.

Penn State Basketball’s fifth game of the season was the first time we saw the Lions really struggle shooting the ball.

The Nittany Lions finished 7-19 from beyond the arc (36.8%), which is not bad not great.  Their struggles inside the arc doomed them.  Shooting 30.8% (20-65) isn’t going to win many games, no matter what conference they play in.

For the second straight game, Seth Lundy didn’t show up (2-10 from the field, 1-5 from 3 with no assists).

Myreon Jones still hasn’t shown us the play that wowed the B1G last year (3-11, 2-4 from 3 with one assist).  Brockington finished 5-14, Sessoms 4-15 and Dread took just two shots.

How can you win when you don’t put the ball in the hoop?
