Sam Sessoms comes up big in big game

Listen, the Lions shot horribly.

Penn State Basketball finished 30.8% from the field. The fact this was even a game is a testimony to the heart this team plays with.

Only John Harrar (3-6 from the field) shot even close to 50%.

So, I’m going with Sam Sessoms as today’s ringer of the Victory Bell.

Yes, Sessoms shot 4-15 but he handled the Michigan press throughout the game and kept Penn State in the game.  He will need to work on finishing over B1G frontcourt players but in a game that no one wearing blue and white (pink and black again, we can probably stop asking for that every game…) really looked like they wanted to take over.

Sessoms showed he can get his shot and Penn State fans will feel comfortable when the ball is in his hand.
