Penn State Football WR Jahan Dotson added another highlight to his impressive 2020 season, returning  a punt for a touchdown against Michigan State

Penn State Football wide receiver Jahan Dotson was among the Nittany Lions‘ pleasant surprises and few bright spots of a disappointing 2020 regular season, and Dotson added yet another highlight in the season finale against Michigan State.

With 11:41 remaining in the fourth quarter, and Penn State Football nursing a 32-24 lead, Dotson fielded a Michigan State punt and streaked down the sidelines for an 81-yard return for a touchdown to extend the Nittany Lions’ lead.

What was perhaps most impressive about Dotson’s return, other than his game-breaking speed, is the fact that he didn’t exactly benefit from a wall of blockers, rather he found a seam in the Spartans’ coverage, a few inches of daylight and was off to the races.

The Nittany Lions went on to win the game 39-24, completing a three-game winning streak to close out the Big Ten regular season.

Dotson likely helped his 2021 NFL Draft stock with Saturday’s performance catching eight passes for 108 yards, in addition to his 81-yard punt return for a touchdown. He finished up the season with 38 receptions for 46 receptions for 695 yards and six touchdowns.
