Penn State Basketball Demolishes #15 Virginia Tech 75-55 | FUN in Blacksburg

What could have been?
If Penn State held on against Seton Hall Sunday night, this Penn State team would have every argument in the world to be ranked when the next polls come out.
They should very likely be 4-0 at this point. As Jim Ferry said in the post-game, “We should be 4-0 but we’re not. We’re 3-1.” And I think every fan would have signed up for that record heading into conference play, especially now with a marquee ranked road win.
If Penn State can win at Michigan on Sunday, the Nittany Lions will almost certainly be receiving votes and could easily be ranked when the next polls come out.
The Nittany Lions will be underdogs in Ann Arbor, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves. But boy, was this win the gut-check we needed to see.
The bitterness of the Seton Hall loss is now replaced with promise and hope as we head into B1G conference play. The BIG Conference is the consensus top conference in the country. Don’t believe me? The BIG Conference is currently leading the B1G – ACC Challenge 4-1 and hold leads in two more games, which would clinch at least a draw after just the first night.
